Cedric Aceres (b. in France) lives and works in France.
His sculptural practice examines moments of instability within form — where matter appears, fractures, erodes, melts, or suspends itself between presence and disappearance.
Working with materials associated with durability and monumentality, such as bronze or polished surfaces, alongside fragile or unstable matter like sand, he confronts permanence with erosion and collapse.
Across several series, sculpture is approached not as a fixed object, but as a condition — a moment in which form hesitates, transforms, or dissolves over time.
